SERVICES

Sub-slab system

This system pulls radon from directly beneath the home’s foundation and vents it outside.

Drain tile system

The pipe penetrates into the drain tile and vents the soil gases outside. Covers are placed on the sump baskets.

Sub-membrane system

Used in crawl spaces, a plastic sheet covers exposed dirt on the floor, extends up onto the wall and is sealed. A radon pipe penetrates the plastic sheeting, pulls the soil gas from the crawl space, and vents it outside.

Exterior Installations

The mitigation system will be routed to the exterior of your home, so that you will not see it from the inside.

Interior Installations

The mitigation system can be installed in your garage or your crawl space. TJ Radon will determine the best plan of action to camouflage your system.

Passive Radon Mitigation System Activation

Starting in 2009, all new homes in Minnesota are required to have passive radon mitigation systems installed. These systems do not include the fan. TJ Radon can install a fan for you, making it an active radon mitigation system.

Radon Testing

TJ Radon can perform a radon test using a professional electronic test.

Each radon mitigation system will include a radon fan. The radon fan will be located in a space like an attic, garage, or outside. The fan is plugged into an electrical junction box or hard wired. Electrical fees will be determined on site, based on which fan is chosen.

TJ Radon will inspect your home and choose which system is best for you. Any options will be explained to you beforehand.
